Our aim is to reduce the environmental impact of the fast fashion culture, whilst financially supporting businesses and charitable concerns and supplying those in the greatest need with quality clothing.

Our commitments:

We will always comply with all laws applicable to our business and we will always trade professionally and ethically – especially in the process of the reuse and recycling of garments that we collect.

All of our supply chain partners are expected to adhere to our guiding principles and those of the United Nations Global Compact, UN Declaration of Human Rights as well as the 1998 International Labour Organisation’s “Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work” in accordance with national law and practice.

We are completely committed to trading relationships which are both commercially and ethically viable. We will support fair trade and the only operate with supply chain partners who comply with our ethical trading policy. We will judge and monitor our supply chain partners against a number of key criterion. These include:

  • The items we pass on for reuse must only be used for their intended purpose – for the good of those with the greatest need
  • Extending the life of the reusable items is our objective, passing on the environmental problem associated with them isn’t. Our supply chain will need to demonstrate robust processes in support of our reduce, reuse and recycle aims
  • There must never be any forced labour associated with our work
  • Child labour must never be used
  • No racial or sexual discrimination should ever take place
  • Working hours must always comply with local national standards
  • Wages must meet the minimum local standards
  • Human and civil rights must always be respected
  • Bribery is not acceptable in any circumstances

Our leadership team will respond robustly if any supply chain partner is found to be in breach of these ‘game entry’ requirements.
